For those who don’t have very healthy gums and teeth due to oral cleaning habits or inheritary reasons. These problems often leads to bleeding gum when brushing and dental problems. It can be dreadful whenever you visit your dental therapist, he/ she has to “patiently” removes all the plague and tartar which would hurt. Not only that, the cost to fix all your dental problems can be expensive.
What makes the difference? The constant vibration, it does a good job in polishing the surface of your teeth and getting rid of food particles in between the gaps. Not every electronic toothbrush vibrates in the same manner, I have bought a couple from Walmart which was highly recommended but it tickles when I used it and makes me sneeze.
I wouldn’t say its the best electric toothbrush just for its sleek appearance, you may like to read on to find out what are the Pros and Cons.
No more tedious brushing when you use the Sonicare DiamondClean Toothbrush, the soft and gentle bristle glides through your teeth smoothly when you start the electric toothbrush. It is easy to use and does a more thorough cleaning compared to the rest of the Sonicare series to get rid of plague and tartar because of its powerful sonic vibration.
The DiamondClean has a long battery life of 3 weeks after a full charge and it will give out two short beeps when it is low in battery so you will be reminded to leave it in the charging glass.
Travel With Style- Portable
The DiamondClean comes with a convenient travel case which can fit a handle and 2 brush heads. I would say traveling with your electric toothbrush becomes so easy having it in the rigid case, you feel safe to leave it in your check in luggage. In addition, there’s a USB cable that you can attached to the case for charging but you wouldn’t need it unless you are going on a long trip because this electric toothbrush has 3 weeks of battery life when fully charged!
Truly #1 Recommended brand by dental professionals
Your next dental appointment would for sure be more pleasant after you start using the DiamondClean toothbrush because of the effective cleaning, you will experience less dental problems.

It may be a lot pricier than most electric toothbrushes you find in the market however I think it is definitely worth the investment because it helped improve the condition of my gums and teeth, in additional it does a great job in maintaining better oral health hygiene.
Long Charging Time
According to Philips, it takes at least 24 hours to fully charge the toothbrush which is pretty long. What I would usually do is leave it in the charging base when the toothbrush starts beeping which is a reminder of low battery. I would pick it up when I need to use it then dry the toothbrush before putting it back in the charging base to get a full charge while some might leave it in the charging glass and use a disposable toothbrush for that day. You can do it either way then use it for another 3 weeks before charging it again.
Caring Tip: Do not wet the charging glass or leave your wet DiamondClean toothbrush in the glass. I suggest that you use a towel to dry the toothbrush before leaving it in the charging base and set an alarm to switch off the charging base when it is ready.
Sonicare DiamondClean VS Sonicare
Throughout the years, Philips electric toothbrush has been my #1 choice and the constant satisfactory is what made consumers return to buy from them with confidence. If you are looking for the newest version of DiamondClean, this isn’t it but personally I have been using this particular DiamondClean for quite some time now and it does an impeccable job in maintaining great oral health.
I do think the brushing quality is different when I compare a Sonicare and a DiamondClean, the latter gives you the clean feeling similar to visiting a dentist to get a good polish.
If you are already own a Sonicare toothbrush and want to make a switch, you don’t have to worry about the remaining brush head refills you have at home. You can use those refills on the DiamondClean electric toothbrush as well, furthermore when you purchase the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Electric Toothbrush, it comes with a DiamondClean brush head, 2 Sensitive brush heads and 3 SimplyClean Brush heads. It will be able to last you for 18 months as you only need to change your brush head every 3 months.
The DiamondClean comes with a rechargeable glass and stylist travel case while the sonicare series has a smaller charging base and not all sonicare series comes with a travel case. A huge plus point is that the travel case can also be used to charge the electric toothbrush, and in a case when either one is faulty you can use another to do the charging. You can probably save on getting a new charging base until it’s time to get a new Philips DiamondClean toothbrush.
In conclusion, I would not give a second thought when purchasing my next Philips DiamondClean electric toothbrush simply because with just 2-3 minutes of brushing twice a day, you will get cleaner teeth and better oral health ( no more bleeding gums and slower plague and tartar buildup). Give it a try and you will wonder why you didn’t get one earlier!
